If your looking to keep your driver for another season in rookie but he is currently or will be over 85 oa
then you will lose him to the rookie reset. Here's how to keep him.
High motivation will almost certainly be the reason why your driver is over 85 oa in rookie so we need to lower this,
unfortunately you can't really lower it in rookie by forcing a bad result because there's not enough active managers
so a forced bad result may still result in around 10th place and that's not enough.
So the way to get his motivation to zero in one race is to have a debt of £15 million or more, this causes your driver
to lose all motivation. The debt of £15 million has to be after a race and after all income and expenditure is sorted
out for the driver to lose motivation so in theory you must have a £22-25 million debt BEFORE a race depending on how
much you earn after a race. It's best of course to do this action just before race 17 so the motivation drops after race
17 and thus you keep him during the rookie reset.
So how do I get into £22-25 million debt? Well you need to do it in 1 go just before race 17 so you need to do the following,
ensure you are quite low in funds after race 16 is complete, below £10 million is good but DONT be in debt, then before race
17 do your driver training, and do as much facilities upgrade all in one go as you need to get your balance close to zero but
NOT in debt, then you need to update your car to at least level 4 for all parts all in one go, this should be around £23-25 million.
For this you need to make sure you have level 3 parts before race 16 so you can up them to level 4. Then set up a bad race
(pit every few laps) so you don't get much prize money. At the end of race 17 after all prize money is awarded etc you should be
£15 million or more in debt and your driver will have zero motivation and be under 85 oa so you keep him. Remember rookie reset
will reset your car parts and facilities so what you do to force a debt will have no future effect on these, only issue will be
that your driver has zero motivation but this will quickly rise again.
Please note if you do this trick and you have 50 pts or more you will be fined to the fee of £200,000 per point over 50
so if you plan to do this trick then don't have 50 pts or more, you may need to kill quite a few races by pitting every
few laps, it will be boring but please DONT miss a race to kill a race, you will lose £5 million doing this, a training
session and real points.
